Vice President, Platform Architecture•Digital Assets The Role As a Vice President, Platform Architecture for Digital Assets, you will be responsible for driving platform innovation and keeping our custody platform on the cutting edge. The position is responsible for designing and building software for projects spanning multiple Engineering groups at Fidelity Digital Assets℠. This is a hands-on role where you will be working directly with development teams and providing architectural oversight. You will be responsible for defining technology vision, strategy and solutions to align with requirements and collaborate with architects across other product areas and business units to drive overall architecture of the Fidelity Digital Assets℠ platform. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Strong software architecture skills and knowledge with proven track record in delivering complex software systems Bachelor’s degree in computer science 10+ years of software engineering experience Experience designing and building large scale production distributed systems with a focus on customer experience, scale, resiliency and performance Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot Proficient in principles of API design Experience with reactive and functional programming concepts Familiarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns is preferred Exposure to infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD, and containerization Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time Ability to collaborate stake holders to understand business requirements Experience in managing technology vendor relationships The Team Fidelity Digital Assets℠ , a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
