Job Description
UBS Business Solutions US LLC is hiring an Associate Director, Engineer (ref. Code 001639) in Weehawken, NJ.
Duties:
Design, develop and implement the Azure applications for faster data processing. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and development of high performing next-generation Data Science and Big Data analytics framework. Work with technology components including on-premises, cloud computing, and data processing engines. Be responsible for development of data science models and programming. Work with business and tech executives, data scientists, data owners, and data stewards to create insights for all internal and external stake holders. Develop data pipelines for sourcing data from a variety of data sources, processing, transforming, enriching, and storing them in different ways to increase data processing efficiency, speed, and availability. Extract data from a variety of relational databases. Manipulate and explore data using quantitative, statistical, and visualization tools. Review and determine the daily consumption of data to finalize the cluster size and perform performance tests with huge sizes of data to finalize the designed architecture.
REQUIREMENTS
Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Technology Manager, Senior Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation. Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Technology Manager, Senior Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.
