ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensivetechnology strategy that supports SHI’s technical strategy,including AI adoption and implementation.
  • Lead and mentorengineering teams in areas such as data center infrastructure,integration, configuration services and AI.
  • Oversee theinstallation, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting ofdata center hardware and software, ensuring high-quality servicedelivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a customer-centricapproach in service delivery, from onboarding to ongoing technicalaccount management.
  • Foster relationships with senior executiveswithin key accounts to align technology solutions with strategicbusiness objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert,articulating SHI’s technical vision at industry events and inconversations with customers and partners.
  • Develop and track KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring team performance alignswith organizational goals.
  • Spearhead the hiring and developmentof top-tier engineering talent, promoting a culture of innovationand continuous improvement.
  • Engage in strategic businessdiscussions, contributing insights that shape company policies anddirection.
  • Collaborate with internal Solutions, ProjectManagement, Build and Quality Control teams to determineintegration requirements, expectations, and timelines.
  • Directteam members on how to troubleshoot and improve the design ofautomation, information, and operational support systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science,engineering, or a related field, with a preference for advanceddegrees or certifications.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant industryexperience, with a strong foundation in technology infrastructureand cloud solutions.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managementwith responsibility for technical strategy and customer-facingactivities.
  • Proven track record in managing high-performingtechnical teams and delivering complex IT projects on time andwithin budget.
  • Thorough understanding of configuration andintegration services, including pre-integrated rack infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g.,xCAT, Ansible, Cobbler, Chef) and scripting languages (e.g.,Python, Bash, shell scripts).
  • Experience working with modern datacenter technologies and concepts. Required Skills
  • Strongstrategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a focus onbusiness impact and technology innovation.
  • Ability to communicateeffectively with a diverse array of stakeholders, from C-levelexecutives to technical staff.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skillsand the ability to handle complex, multi-disciplinary technicalchallenges.
  • Advanced networking skills, including OSI networklayers, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
  • Ability to multitaskwhile maintaining attention to detail to produce on-time qualityresults.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills withthe ability to articulate ideas succinctly.
  • Management/Leadershipskills and the ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.

Unique Requirements

  • Extended hours are required to complete somespecial projects Additional Information
  • The estimated annual payrange for this position is $150,000 – $280,000 which includes abase salary and a bonus. The compensation for this position isdependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and marketlocation and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
