job summary:
This is a long-term fully remote Senior AD Engineer Consultant role who will map out domain consolidation efforts and project plans and then lead this.

Location:

100% Remote (EST.CST)

Duration:

Until EOY + extension through 2026
MUST HAVE
Active Directory Engineer with recent experience driving domain consolidation
Experienced in prepping for a domain consolidation in a large environment with minimal impact as the goal.
Experience organizing from a project lead level vs just 100% hands-on.

responsibilities:
Extensive and broad experience with on-prem Active Directory
Experience with Entra ID a valuable plus

AD Support:

Extensive experience in supporting and troubleshooting on-prem Active Directory services (Authentication, DFS, GPO, LDAP)

AD Security:

Good understanding of AD security, vulnerabilities, and common safeguards

Cloud Interface:

Familiar working with the AWS EC2 and Azure environments to build and support servers.

Disaster Recovery:

Enhanced understanding of recovering Active Directory in a DR situation

Tool Development:

Experience performing POC testing and driving deployment of AD service related tools

Documentation:

Ability to author, review, and edit technical documents at an Engineering and Operational level
qualifications:
10+ years experience with heavy specialization in Active Directory

Enterprise client experience
