What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks AssistantVice President, Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positionsavailable): 1. Design and develop exotics analytics price andstrategic trade booking platform for Structured Notes, andcontribute to the overall system design, architecture anddevelopment on risk platform, booking tools for exotic products andprice streaming platforms. 2. Enhance systems to facilitateRegulatory requirements (FRTB IM/SSA, CCAR, Libor cessation). 3.Manage stakeholders by working directly with front office trading,operations and other business users to collect requirements andprovide regular status updates and support. 4. Reduce technicaldebt by introducing and adopting best practices in softwaredevelopment and collaborating with the team to ensure consistentadoption of best practices and migrating off legacy technicalstacks. 5. Compute cost optimizations by working on cost reductioninitiatives to reduce grid compute costs by moving to efficientvaluation models and distributing across HPC/AWS clusters. 6. Leadthe migration of stochastic valuation models, moving away fromBlack Scholes to better capture volatility risk exposure. 7.Develop strategic UI interfaces using HTML5/React for tradebooking/risk management platform. 8. Integrate with OpenFinplatform, defining data taxonomies for Macro/Rates business andseamlessly interact with other applications (RFQ activity, internalmargins, Credit exposures, Axes etc.) in the space. 9. Enhance theserver-side stack, moving to microservices stack using Vert.

X,SpringBoot. service discovery via Zookeeper, asynchronous messagingon Confluent Kafka and deployments using Kubernetes/Dockercontainers. 10. Work with Front Office traders to providerisk/trade/static/market data via APIs to support their developmenton Python Notebooks. 11. May telecommute. Implementation of effective unit testing practices toensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
