This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and managing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring
ISO 9000
compliance, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
Salary:
$65,000to $72,000/ year Hours Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the
ISO 9000
Quality Management System (QMS). Serve as the Management Representative for quality matters and the Lead Auditor for internal and external audits. Plan and direct activities related to quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Design and implement procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation, drawing on engineering knowledge (mechanical, chemical, or electrical). Establish programs to evaluate the precision and reliability of testing and production equipment. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Analyze and respond to customer complaints and product non-conformances. Maintain all quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and audit records. Provide training programs to enhance internal quality awareness and compliance. Oversee the receiving and outgoing inspection functions, including supplier quality issues. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production to ensure smooth transfer of new products into manufacturing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, OR minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related technical field. Demonstrated experience in
ISO 9000/9001
implementation within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ASTM and ASME industry standards. Strong knowledge of quality standards development, customer requirement analysis, and audit preparation.
