OVERVIEW:
Client seeking a well-rounded SCCM/Desktop Engineer to join our End User Computing team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint systems, ensuring secure and efficient operation of devices across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows desktop operating systems, Windows deployment, SCCM and Intune, with experience in endpoint security, automation, and hardware/software management. This individual will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-user experience and support enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
SCCM & Intune Administration:
Oversee the daily operations of SCCM and Intune, managing software deployments, patching, compliance policies, and reporting.
Endpoint Engineering:
Develop and maintain Windows desktop standards, configurations, and policies to ensure secure and optimized endpoint management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.
Responsibilities may include infrastructure review, implementation, and design, creation of support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture.
Required Skills:
Managing windows operating system security, policy, compliance, and deployment
SCCM Engineering
Produce and maintain desktop standards, knowledge base, operating procedures, guidelines and system
