DUTIES:

Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Responsible for supporting process leads in development, implementation, mentoring of, and maintenance of ITSM processes, training, requirements management, and testing, as well as contribute to development of strategic solutions. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. Communicate and promote the process. Influence process stakeholders. Define new and redesign existing ITSM processes. Identify areas for improvement in the process and support technology. Work with the supporting technology teams and customers to develop user stories, develop test scripts, conduct testing, participate in migrations, deliver training, update relevant documentation, and provide early live support when the process and/or supporting technology changes are introduced. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Develop software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Prepare and distribute ad-hoc and scheduled reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Identify areas for improvement in the process and supporting technology. Provide technical expertise and advice to Technology and Business process practitioners and users. Coach, train, and guide process stakeholders. Develop and conduct training and presentation, as needed. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Utilizing core technical capabilities across Linux, and Windows to provide active directory, monitoring, service management, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing technical operational guidance; Ensuring application and infrastructure environments conform to governing enterprise standards including monitoring compliance and proper change management procedures; Using data aggregation tools and platforms including Splunk and other analytics tools to triage issues in production environment; Monitoring vulnerability assessments and timely addressing issues by tracking, and proactively mitigating risk; Developing procedures for operational support and performing client application troubleshooting using tools & web applications including Symantec Privileged Access Manager, Cypher Trust Manager, RSA Secure ID, Azure Privileged Identity Manager, SiteMinder and Ping Federation; and Supporting technology, and contributing to internal and external audits by producing supporting artifacts and demonstrating records keeping standards.
