SCOPE OF POSITION
- :•Manages engineering activities to develop or improve technical products, systems, or processes that meet specified requirements and standards.
Manages engineering projects through their entire lifecycle, including cost and requirement analysis, scheduling, and coordinating activities with stakeholders. Monitors schedules and deadlines and prioritizes projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Establishes engineering methodologies, principles, and tools to support training, process improvements, and best practices and protocols. Leads initiatives with other departments to identify potential products, projects, or opportunities.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following:_ + Establishes and monitors overall engineering objectives and initiatives. + Serving as a subject matter expert for assigned product categories. + Responsible for overall managerial and technical direction of the engineering team. + Reviews and approves staffing resources and schedules on each project assigned. + Monitors the quality and progress of the engineering team on each project, ensuring that requirements are satisfied. + Acts as a conduit between engineering and other departments in the business, fielding issues or questions as necessary. + Works closely with stakeholders to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to quality of work, schedule performance or productivity. + Remains informed of new technologies and processes and implements changes to improve engineering capabilities. + Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION
- :•(Minimum Education and/or Experience required) + Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a similar technical discipline + At least 8 years of experience leading an engineering function.
+ Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society. + Experience with CAD Software and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software
