Engineering Projects Manager The Opportunity Our client is anational innovator of construction building materials. They havehired us to seek out an Engineering Projects Manager for their EastStroudsburg, PA location. This position is responsible for leadingand overseeing manufacturing projects from design to completion,ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Other responsibilities include Research options, design and preparefull budgets for projects together with payback justificationsPrepare CAPEX forms for Divisional projects and review individualplant CAPEXs for site/line improvements Continue the implementationof “SHIRE” preventative maintenance system and ensure localmaintenance teams fully adopt Investigate alternative technologiesand evaluate usefulness within the business, while developing acore divisional engineering team Qualifications include Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred(demonstrated experience in the business may be acceptable in lieuof this requirement) At least eight years of experience inmaintenance, quality, and/or manufacturing engineering ormanagement Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills withproven project management experience Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills with excellent organizational abilities andattention to detail
Note:
Travel is expected and could be as muchas 50%-75% to manage projects, meet with vendors and attendequipment verification sign-offs.
