PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Providemanagement of the engineering function of accountability and act asbackup to the Site Engineering Director.

PRIMARY DUTIES ANDACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide management of the engineering functionwith respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Managethe performance and development of assigned engineering personnelrelative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on theattainment of high-quality engineering results.
• Participate askey manager in Business Planning, Budget and Business Performancereview for Site Engineering. Fulfill managerial responsibilitiesregarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development,compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.) Ensures consistent andeffective work force practices through assignedsupervisors/functions.
• Directly and through subordinates, fulfillengineering and technical leadership accountability regardingshort-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
• Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs andinitiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systemsand processes.
• All other job assignments and/or duties pursuantto company policy or as directed by management to include but notlimited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Departmentduty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of departmentin support of outage activities etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural,electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or related scienceOR must meet equivalency as outlined in

ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014

(4.1.1.1& 4.1.1.2) Standard, “Selection, Qualification, and Training ofPersonnel for Nuclear Power Plants”

• 10 years overall experience,which includes 4 years power plant, 1 year of nuclear power plantexperience and 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience
• Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification orplant operational knowledge consistent with the requirements of theengineering manager’s job
• Must meet additional requirements asoutlined in

ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014

(4.3.8) Standard, “Selection,Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants

• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted accessrequirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinationand/or testing in accordance with position duties
