Role:
Asa Regional Vice President, Strategic Networks Sales at Motive, youwill be a key leader in our highest addressable market segment atMotive. You’ll manage a team of Strategic Account Directors who areresponsible for closing and growing relationships with Motive’slargest prospects while also partnering cross-functionally toinfluence and accelerate indirect revenue within those customers ≺ospects (think organizations who have their own large fleets, butalso operate through a network of third-party contractors orfranchisees.) You’ll be the driving force behind the strategy andoperations of the ‘Networks’ business and your team will sell intothe most impactful companies in North America that power thephysical economy. You will lead the charge, partneringcross-functionally to ensure your team is properly supported andhelp sell the value of our products and the business outcomes thatcan be achieved for our customers in partnership with Motive. Thisrole reports to the Area Vice President of Strategic Sales. OurStrategic Sales team sells consistently into Fortune 500 companiesacross multiple industries, including trucking, oil & gas,construction, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer transit, or anyother business that requires a fleet of vehicles. Because of thecollaborative nature of our Go-to-Market team, a win-as-a-teammentality is a must. In this high-energy role, you should becomfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high standardsof quality.
What Youll Do:
Drive the overarching go-to-marketstrategy of the strategic networks organization Lead a world-classteam of seasoned Account Directors that you’ll partner with onprospecting strategy, account planning, pipeline reviews, achievingrevenue targets Develop and execute on strategic account and plansfor your team to meet or exceed ACV targets over monthly,quarterly, and annual periods Track progress and success of yourAccount Directors against various primary KPIs, coaching andenabling their success across short and long-term goals Cultivate aculture of high-performance and accountability throughbest-in-class hiring Partner with our Sales Enablement team ad-hocand on more formal sales training and coaching programs to ensureconsistency and effectiveness across the organization Excellence inlistening, sales process and passionate about the art of sellingCollaborate with your Account Directors and directly engagehigh-priority client prospects and customers to help sell the valueof Motive Ensure use of CRM and other operational tools, processes,and best practices in pipeline planning, forecasting, and salesexecution
What Were Looking For:
3 years experience directlymanaging SaaS sales teams at the Strategic level. Additionalexperience leading other sales segments (SMB, Mid-Market,Enterprise) not required, but preferred. History of exceeding salestargets Experience developing and driving go-to-market strategy fora new or emerging sales organization (or new business segment)Examples of bringing a great sense of rigor, executions andaccountability to your team’s day-to-day processes Ability tocollaborate with internal cross-functional partners across SalesDevelopment, Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, CustomerSuccess, Legal and Sales Ops Experience with Salesforce or otherCRM and sales technologies and best practices enabling your team toforecast, manage their pipeline and accelerate wins Lead withcuriosity and example by attending sales calls to help team manageand close deals Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is oneof Motives core values.
