Job Details SUMMARY:
Asour Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing andimplementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and qualityprocedures to ensure compliance with customer, commercial, andmilitary standards. This role leads to testing, continuousimprovement initiatives, plant layout enhancements, and thecorrective/preventive action program. Drawing on extensive industryexperience, the Quality Manager will identify training needs, driveefficiency, and support a culture of quality and innovation acrossthe organization.

2 Quality Engineers and 4 QualityTechnicians
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Representativefor development and maintenance of the Quality Management System(QMS) Lead third party
AS9100 / ISO9001
Surveillance AuditsDevelop, review and update QMS procedures and internal workinstructions Participate in the supplier evaluation process andsupplier performance management Administer and manage CustomerSource Surveillance Audits Train employees on QMS requirements andinspection plans Schedule, maintain and conduct AS9100 InternalAudits to support QMS Review and control customer qualityrequirements during pre-planning phase and post award phase Leadand participates in the Material Review Board, Corrective ActionBoard, and Engineering Change Control Board Drive root causeanalysis for corrective action process, implement correctiveaction, and verify effectiveness of corrective action Interfacewith customers to review Quality and First Article requirementsMonitor In-Process inspection, First Piece Inspection and FirstArticle Inspection Coordinate Organizational Performance metricsand Quality Objectives Document, track, and report performancemetrics to top management Review and approve Engineering Changes,Work Instructions prior to releasing to production Lead quarterlyManagement Review Meetings Review and participate in the supplierselection and approval process Lead and promote Lean initiatives -5S, VSM, Visual Factory Participate in production initiatives andhave hands-on knowledge for improvement efforts
EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE
Bachelors in engineering preferred. 8 years ofprofessional Quality Engineering experience with at least 2 inquality leadership. AS9100 and
ISO ISO 9001
