This opening is for a Systems Engineering Manager to support our Air Traffic Control (ATC) programs. area, from our US headquarters facility in Columbia, Maryland.
Your tasks
Manage and lead a high functioning systems engineering team
Collaborate closely with ATC engineering and program teams
Provide input to program schedules, budgets and management plans
Manage the design, integration, and deployment of voice communications systems / subsystems for R&S ATC projects
Lead efforts for creating and maintaining technical documentation according to customer requirements.
Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content.
Prepare regular reports on project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Participate in communication with customers and R&S product design team.
Work closely with the product engineering teams based in Europe and North America.

Your qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree.
First experience with systems for critical infrastructure customers.
Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Experience with requirement management processes and tools.
Good technical writing skills.
Good communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written).
Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and minimal supervision.
Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%.
