Siemens in Roebuck, SC, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians supporting daily operations on the production floor. This role is responsible for driving process improvements, managing capital projects, and delivering cost savings through PUMA initiatives. You’ll make an impact by: Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing engineers and support staff assigned to specific production lines. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to resolve production issues and improve line performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). Manage and execute CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) projects , including planning, budgeting, procurement, and implementation of new equipment and technologies. Identify, lead, and track PUMA (Productivity and Manufacturing Advancement) savings projects to support cost reduction and efficiency goals. Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and support kaizen events. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned lines. Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change implementations. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field). 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven experience managing CAPEX projects and delivering measurable cost savings. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. Siemens product or system knowledge. Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
