Duties Lead and mentor the engineering team, promoting professional development and fostering a culture of innovation. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Manage computer networking infrastructure, including firewalls and cloud computing solutions, to enhance system security and performance. Ensure compliance with NIST standards and other regulatory requirements within engineering practices. Vaticinate future trends in technology to guide strategic planning and investment decisions. Experience Proven experience in senior leadership roles within an engineering environment. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful project management. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in engineering projects. In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery planning, computer networking, firewall management, and cloud computing technologies. Understanding of NIST standards and their relevance to engineering practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
