Project Engineer – Land Development Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

GarzaEMC is a collaborative Team where each of our offices work together. A Professional Engineer (PE) serves as a technical and managerial lead on civil engineering design projects. This role functions as an Assistant Project Manager, responsible for overseeing design execution, coordinating permitting efforts, and supporting project delivery. The Professional Engineer is expected to take ownership of tasks, manage internal coordination, and serve as a secondary point of contact for clients when the Project Manager is unavailable. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate the completion of project tasks Lead the engineering design of civil/site development projects Perform technical analyses and calculations in support of design deliverables Manage and oversee the development of construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D Coordinate and manage permitting processes with local and state regulatory agencies Support communication with clients, consultants, and contractors Assist with project progress tracking, scheduling, and budget monitoring Ensure successful delivery of assigned projects on time and within budget Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas (required) Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required) 4+ years of experience in site civil and/or land development engineering Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Familiarity with supporting software such as GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and PondPack is a plus Why Join GarzaEMC?
