The Global Ergonomics & Safety Engineer is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and implementation of ergonomic solutions across manufacturing, office, and operational environments. This role applies principles of ergonomics, biomechanics, and human-centered design to optimize worker performance, reduce injury risks, and improve workplace comfort and efficiency.

  • As A Global Ergonomics & Safety Engineer, You Will:
  • + Conduct ergonomic risk assessments and job hazard analyses for existing and new work processes.

+ Develop and implement ergonomic solutions, including equipment modifications, workstation design, and administrative controls. + Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions for ergonomic-related injuries or near misses. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EHS, engineering, operations, HR) to integrate ergonomics into facility design, equipment procurement, and process development. + Participate in safety audits and support continuous improvement initiatives to drive a proactive safety culture. + Provide ergonomic training and awareness programs for employees, supervisors, and leadership. + Monitor and analyze ergonomic-related injury trends and recommend action plans for improvement. + Stay current with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to ergonomics.​

  • Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Safety Engineering, or related field.

+ 3+ years of experience in ergonomics or human factors, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Strong knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools (e.g., HumanTech, NIOSH Lifting Equation, etc.). + Proficient in data collection, analysis, and ergonomic software or tools. + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence change. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems (e.g., Velocity EHS). + Ability to travel up to 50% of the time – International travel required. + Occasional work in physically demanding or industrial environments. + Flexibility to coordinate across time zones. + Legal work authorization in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

  • Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
  • + Master’s degree + Certification or coursework in ergonomics (e.g., BCPE, CEAS, or equivalent)
  • Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:
  • This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.
