Job Description:
A Manufacturing Facility Engineer II is needed in Auburn, Alabama.
- Design layout of manufacturing systems and layout for manufacturing of automotive parts such as front and rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint for propeller shafts.
- Coordinate design, installation, or troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and set maintenance service schedules.
- Calculate cost estimation, production times and personnel requirements for maintenance of the manufacturing facility.
- Provide strategic direction and oversee the manufacturing process and engineering opera-tions.
- Develop and conduct tests for final products or process capabilities to set standards or con-firm process requirements.
- Recommend or make changes to enhance manufacturing processes or products, or to reduce costs, by analyzing fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly tech-niques, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and components.
- Coordinate manufacturing status by sharing information about manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other relevant data to streamline production processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and 3 years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing industry. How to
