You’ll handle reactive & planned maintenance, fault-finding on electrical & mechanical systems, and support continuous improvement projects. The Role:
Keep production equipment & site services fully operational Diagnose & repair electrical and mechanical faults Work with PLC’s, invertor drives, multi-head weighers, conveyors & packaging machinery Carry out preventative maintenance & TPM Support continuous improvement & lean manufacturing initiatives Manage building services (fire systems, refrigeration, air handling, HVAC, BMS)
What You Need:
✔
NVQ – HNC
in Engineering (or equivalent) ✔ 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations ✔ Strong electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills (PLC, DC circuits, safety circuits, reading drawings) ✔ Experience in food or automotive manufacturing ✔ Good welding, fabrication, and motor/gearbox repair skills ✔ Ability to work independently & under pressure in a fast-paced environment Bonus points if you have MEWP, FLT, IOSH/NEBOSH, or food safety training.
