Onsite SystemOne is currently seeking an Engineer on a 2 year contract positionlocated in Jonesboro, GA.

Engineer Responsibilities:

Responsiblefor applying engineering processes, design criteria, and softwareapplications to design and construct power related systems.

Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, andprepares construction specifications. Provide guidance, oversight,and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as theydevelop design solutions, cost estimates, and constructionpackages. Create a safe work environment by putting safety first.

Understand the process used for planning, design, operation,construction, and maintenance. Understand the functions andactivities of various internal departments involved in design,construction, and maintenance. Understand design practices and workprocesses, using all software applications used in design.

Understand industry and Company design standards. Support designstandard and criteria development for the system. Supportconstruction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations.

Estimate material for projects, transmitting construction packagesand supporting specifications.

Engineer Requirements:

0-5 years ofrelated experience An accredited bachelor’s degree in engineeringIntroductory engineering knowledge Basic problem-solving skillsLimited discretion making independent decisions based on procedureand review with supervisor Basic discipline software knowledgeAbility to build effective relationships with plant staff, designengineering staff and/or vendors.
