Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Industrial Maintenance/field Engineer to join our team. This role involves overseeing existing industrial equipment, new installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with hands-on experience in retrofitting machinery and managing teams. Key Responsibilities, duties include but are not limited to: Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, AC and DC motors, pneumatic systems, and auxiliary equipment. Maintain PLCs, AC drivers, and HMI (Human Machine Interface) panels. Oversee retrofitting projects for existing machinery, such as injection molding, blow molding, and packaging machines. Provide technical support and training to in-house staff. Manage spare part inventory and procurement, ensuring equipment uptime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate electrical and mechanical work across departments and external contractors. Travel occasionally to customer sites to install or troubleshoot equipment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial Electronics, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with PLC systems, AC/DC motors, and industrial control systems. Hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems. Proven ability to manage and coordinate maintenance projects. Experience in retrofitting and upgrading machinery to PLC-based technologies. Proficiency in using CAD for layout and equipment planning is a plus. Strong analytical skills with experience in troubleshooting industrial equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Siemens and or Allen Bradley PLC systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes in industries like plastics or metals Familiarity with continuous process systems and calibration using analog signals (4-20mA).
