Job Description

Maintenance Engineer Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will start your day by attending a shift meeting to discuss the plan for the day. You will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance tasks, responding promptly to production team calls, and ensuring the maintenance of industrial machinery. You are expected to complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks each day. Responsibilities Attend daily shift meetings to discuss plans. Complete a list of preventive maintenance tasks efficiently. Respond swiftly to calls from the production team. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on industrial machinery. Maintain conveyor systems and ensure their proper functioning. Wire 480v motors and use multimeters effectively. Understand and work with PLCs and VFDs. Essential Skills Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Proficiency in using multimeters. Ability to wire 480v motors. Experience in conveyor maintenance. Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs. Allen-Bradley equipment proficiency. Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in food manufacturing is desirable. Willingness to work weekends with two days off during the week. Work Environment and Shift The maintenance team collaborates closely with production and sanitation teams, requiring a positive attitude. The facility is spot climate-controlled, with temperatures averaging around 85 degrees and potentially reaching up to 110 degrees as it is a bakery. Steel toe boots are required as part of the PPE in the manufacturing facility. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, with 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
