Seeking Licensed Florida Engineer (PE) for After-the-Fact Letters (Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough) CBC compensation: $500-750 per after the fact cosmetic letter. $1,000 recertification. $500 AC pad, $1,800 porch enclosure retroactive plans. Basic Column engineering $750 employment type: job title: PE Engineer I’m a licensed Florida Certified Building Contractor (CBC) seeking a licensed Florida Professional Engineer (PE) for multiple projects that require: ✅ After-the-fact inspection letters ✅ Engineering for minor items (e.g., A/C pad, porch conversion) ✅ Recertifications for flood-damaged trailers Most of these properties were repaired directly by the homeowners after recent flooding. The work is primarily cosmetic — drywall, flooring, baseboards, etc.

I already have:

A licensed electrician, plumber, and HVAC contractor All have submitted signed letters confirming systems are in good working condition.

I currently have:

5 homes ready for after-the-fact engineering letters (Many more on the way) 1 mobile home needing engineering recertification 1 A/C pad needing structural engineering 1 porch conversion needing retroactive permitting 1 porch that needs engineering for columns More projects lined up for the right engineer ? To streamline the process, I can provide: Full photo and video documentation A written scope report Letters from licensed electricians, plumber, HVAC and myself the Licensed contractor for each project. Notes from a licensed contractor walkthrough. If preferred, this can replace a physical site visit in most cases. However, I’m open to either. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent side work or a longer-term working relationship.
