Job DetailsResponsibilities:

Design and engineer a variety of complex plumbingsystems including domestic water, sanitary, waste, vent systems,fuel systems, and laboratory gas systems. Utilize Revit software tocreate detailed models and designs. Conduct detailed calculationsto establish standards and specifications. Collaborate withmulti-disciplinary project teams, coordinating the integration ofplumbing systems into overall project design. Oversee projectproduction process, ensuring all designs adhere to applicable codesand standards. Participate in project meetings with clients,architects, and other key stakeholders. Provide technical supportfor construction crews, addressing any issues related to plumbingsystems. Continually stay updated with the latest industry trends,tools, and practices. Contribute to the company’s sustainabilitygoals by implementing LEED certified designs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Aminimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing design andengineering. Proficient in the use of Revit and other designsoftware. Experience designing complex plumbing systems, includingdomestic water, sanitary, waste, vent systems, fuel systems, andlaboratory gas systems. Strong understanding of plumbing codes andstandards. LEED certification preferred. Excellent communicationand project management skills. Ability to work in a teamenvironment and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.

Preferred certifications: Engineer in Training (EIT), ProfessionalEngineer (PE), and Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD).
