Atlanta, GA 30308 Contract To Hire Role Impact As a Facilities / Building Engineer, you’ll oversee mission-critical facility operations across three Georgia sites. You will lead preventative maintenance and systems performance, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. This high-impact role supports safe, efficient, and reliable building operations for occupants and clients. Key Duties Maintain and operate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and Client systems Lead and train team of technicians; delegate tasks and review completed work Create and manage preventative maintenance schedules via CMMS (Corrigo) Respond to complex equipment failures and coordinate repairs with contractors Perform regular site inspections and document safety or compliance issues Manage vendor contracts for specialized work and regulatory inspections Support event setup and general facilities tasks as needed Provide system reports and capital planning input to facilities leadership Essential Qualifications 5+ years in facilities or building maintenance; 2+ years in a supervisory role Valid driver’s license and availability for after-hours/emergency response Proficient with CMMS (Corrigo), MS Office, and building automation systems Able to lift 50 lbs and safely use ladders for facility access tasks Equipment & Work Environment Commercial HVAC, fire suppression, and control systems Electrical switchgear and emergency power infrastructure Client (Building Automation Systems) including remote diagnostics Corrigo CMMS, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Site-to-site travel (Atlanta, Peachtree City, Alpharetta) Preferred Skills Experience with OSHA compliance and emergency response coordination Project oversight for capital equipment upgrades Familiarity with LEED or energy-efficient building practices
