Job Description:
A Brief Overview Perform general healthcare maintenance/carpentry and repair tasks related to plumbing, electrical, heating ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, hardware, furniture, fixtures, equipment, framing walls, drywall (hanging and finishing), painting and hanging cabinets. Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers while working as a team. What you will do Clean Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools. Clean and prepare work sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Repair and install plumbing fixtures:
faucets, drain lines, water closets, mixing valves, flush valves.
Repair and install lighting:
light bulbs, ballast, new fixtures and LED drivers Read work order, instructions and input data into the CMMS data base Repair and assemble office and room furniture Mechanical systems: Ability to read and comprehend pressure gauges (air and water), thermometers, Building control systems, hydronic systems, HVAC systems, filter replacement Repair and install electrical equipment: outlets, switches, lighting controls, breakers, motors Repair and assemble equipment: EVS equipment, carts, kitchen, .
Operation of patient care equipment:
Hospital Beds, transfer carts, wheelchairs, Layout and installation of: suspended ceiling, flooring Carpentry skills/ repair and installation of: framing walls, hang and finish drywall, painting, hanging cabinets Qualifications 1-3 years Carpentry
