Job Description

HVAC Engineer

Raleigh, NC

Salary:

$70.00 USD Hourly – $72.00 USD Hourly

Description:

Our client is currently seeking a HVAC Engineer for a contract-to-hire position.

Qualifications:

Professional Engineer License required Must be a good communicator.

Responsibilities:

Client facing person to represent mechanical (HVAC and Plumbing) for pharmaceutical projects. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce HVAC mechanical and plumbing systems concepts, fire protection design concepts, and HVAC mechanical and plumbing calculations including load, energy/total cost of ownership analysis. Requirements Professional Engineering license and minimum of BSME 15 years minimum of proven mechanical Engineering experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industry Solid understanding of cGMP, ISO, and ISPE standards. Solid understanding of HVAC and associated hydronic systems Working knowledge of HVAC and pumping control strategies
Duties and responsibilities Meet with clients to represent mechanical on projects. Mechanical lead to oversee HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection. Coordinate with other disciplines towards a comprehensive and coordinated product. Assess project requirements and oversee project design to completion. Project mechanical lead will include managing designers and budgeted hours. Work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to design standards
