However, as a global company,MAHLE offers many job opportunities outside of the U.S. which canbe found through our employment website www.jobs.mahle.com YourContribution As a Chemical Engineer – Industrial Maintenancereporting to the Supervisor of Operations Technical Services, youwill be responsible to research, plan and assist in the design andimprovement of current and new manufacturing, facility, and labprocesses relating to chemical, use, handling, storage, disposaland engineered systems.

This role is responsible to:

Research andanalyze current chemical processes to verify the proper applicationof, and recommend improvements to, the consumption, compliance,safety, quality and capacity of these processes. Research anddevelop new chemical processes, instructions, checks and controlsto ensure the product or process meets environmental, engineering,and customer requirements. These checks include measurement andcontrol of chemical concentration, temperature, process time,viscosity, cleanliness, and other chemical related measurements.

Reviews and recommend updates to process documentation, whichpertain to chemical processes in manufacturing, facility, and labareas. Coordinate Continuous Improvement Activities Coordinationfor wet and/or gas fired processes and waste streams. Provideproduction support of wet chemical processes. Management ofWastewater Pre-Treatment Plant. Process monitoring andenvironmental waste management. Collaborate with other engineers inthe development of new equipment specifications. Research andanalyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, andmanuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Developand conduct training of various personnel, in the collection ofsamples, and the use of test equipment and apparatus to ensureproper inspection methods and procedures are used for requiredchemical evaluations. Your Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year collegeor university 1-3 years of professional experience related toIndustrial Processing and Environmental Waste Management in amanufacturing environment Hands-on experience with Wet Chemicalprocessing technologies required.
