Facilities Plant Engineer 2
Location:
North Charleston, SC Job Responsibilities:
Support buildings, infrastructure equipment installations, and utility systems.
Determine the cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity using reliability tools and methods.
Analyze current conditions and future requirements to recommend infrastructure capital improvements.
Translate customer requirements into design options with documents and estimates.
Participate in conceptual design by analyzing intended use/occupancy and desired aesthetics.
Support construction projects by reviewing contractor proposals and monitoring project progress.
Skills Required:
Bachelor, Master, or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years’ experience supporting, troubleshooting or administrating Building Automation Systems (BAS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and/or lighting controls.
2+ years’ experience working in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit software.
Experience with reactive maintenance for building mechanical and electrical systems.
