Process Engineering Technician needed for a client located near Greenville South Carolina. This is a second shift role. Looking for someone who can improve processes and has a background in automation,robotics and CNC machinery. Salary for this role will be based on experience. Candidates need a Mechanincal Engineering degree, or equivalent experience, as well as CNC Programming experience.

education: Associates responsibilities: Programming Horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines / CNC lathes
Work with quality engineers to find and fix root causes in case of customer complaints. Setting up process to ensure production, delivery and quality meets all specifications. Develops machining process, designs fixtures and machining tools in cooperation with headquarters. Responsible for achievement of company goals with regards to quality and productivity. This includes tracking, monitoring charts and assessing, developing and following through with necessary action plans. Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information and trends. Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. Assures compliance with approved methods and quality standards. Set-up of production equipment and machining cells to meet customer timing and quality together with setup technicians. Training of set-up technicians on existing and new production systems/processes. Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians. Set-up daily inspection and adjustments on fixtures and tools Preparation of maintenance schedules for equipment as per the manufacturers recommendation. Overall Equipment Effectiveness, housekeeping, scrap and overtime through proper maintenance of the equipment and the building. Coordination of installation of production equipment and production cells to meet customer timing and quality Improve cycle times and reduce scrap rates.
