Job Description
The HW Integration Engineer is responsible to provide systems integration engineering support and expertise for the weapon development, integration, prototype production, and test.
Duties include:
o Provide HW systems engineering and integration supporto Review and define system requirementso Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packageso Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system designo Support development and testing of prototypes for upgrades to the weapon system to include fit checks and provide oversight to modification installationso Develop and present briefings and reports to government customerRequirementsBS in Science or Engineering5 years supporting engineering for Army weapon systemsMinimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM.Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysisWeapon System development/integration experienceDemonstrated experience with System Requirements and Design ReviewsFamiliarity in Launchers, Reload Operations, Missile System Characteristics, Command and Control•Active DoD Secret security clearanceDesired QualificationsActive TS/SCI security clearanceTechnical oversight of major weapon systems developmentRelevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS.Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements managementExperience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadershipFamiliar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
