REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS BS
in Science or Engineering
5 years supporting engineering for Army weapon systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis
Weapon System development/integration experience
Demonstrated experience with System Requirements and Design Reviews
Familiarity in Launchers, Reload Operations, Missile System Characteristics, Command and Control
•Active DoD Secret security clearance
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Technical oversight of major weapon systems development
Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS.
Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements management
Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide HW systems engineering and integration support
Review and define system requirements
Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packages
Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design
Support development and testing of prototypes for upgrades to the weapon system to include fit checks and provide oversight to modification installations
