Hardware EMC Engineer Position Available In Broward, Florida

In this position… Support the design of electrical/electronic modules with respect to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), including review and assessment of module circuit design and printed circuit board (PCB) layout. Develop and execute EMC test plans to validate the performance of our ECUs, ensuring compliance with OEM and international standards. Work closely with our electronics product development teams, as well as with EMC vehicle application teams, to ensure robust design and identify areas for improvement. Conduct EMC design reviews of components and associated vehicle packaging, leveraging analytical methods, CAE numerical tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, CST, Ansys, ADS), and empirical testing to assess robustness. Collaborate with suppliers to review design proposals and system tradeoffs, ensuring that EMC requirements are met. Plan, source, and implement required test equipment to assess all device features and connectivity options, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
