Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Soldering Technician to join our team in Norcross, Georgia. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on hardware systems, focusing on diagnosing and repairing board-level issues. The ideal candidate will have expertise in soldering techniques and troubleshooting complex hardware problems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve board-level hardware issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform soldering and de-soldering tasks with precision to ensure proper functionality.
- Analyze and address complex corrosion problems affecting hardware components.
- Handle high-voltage components safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Execute basic soldering tasks as a core responsibility.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement effective repair strategies.
- Utilize tools and technologies, such as Atlassian Jira, to document and track hardware issues.
- Maintain and update hardware systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies in computer hardware and business intelligence. Requirements
- Proven experience in soldering and de-soldering tasks, including board-level repairs.
- Familiarity with high-voltage components and the ability to work safely with them.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing corrosion and other hardware issues.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Atlassian Jira to manage workflow and documentation.
- Knowledge of computer hardware systems, including Dell and Apple devices.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and their impact on hardware performance.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using business intelligence tools and techniques.
