Hardware Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced silicon technologies and collaborate with designers and architects in developing Azure cloud hardware. Responsibilities Test integrated circuits with digital and analog functions through electrical measurements. Develop and execute electrical validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits. Debug digital interfaces like JTAG. Utilize TCL, PDL, and Python scripting to automate validation tasks and improve efficiency. Perform validation tests using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other lab equipment. Document validation activities and results, and analyze test data to ensure specifications are met. Characterize analog circuits and/or power delivery systems. Collaborate effectively using digital collaboration tools. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is highly preferred. 10 years of overall experience in the field. Minimum 5 years of experience with Python. Minimum 5 years of experience working in a lab. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Visual Studios is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical engineering, including basics of analog circuits and power delivery circuits. Excellent communication skills. Work Environment This role involves a dynamic work environment focused on the design of analog and mixed signal IPs. You will contribute to testing silicon, data collection, characterization, and reporting. The role consists of approximately 30% scripting and automating measurements, 15-20% data collection, 15-20% debugging and data processing/reporting, and 30% hardware setup. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team working on leading-edge technologies for Azure cloud hardware.
