BAE Systems FAST Labs Mixed Signal and Digital Integrated Circuit Design Organization is looking for a highly skilled and collaborative individual to manage a wide array of cutting-edge EDA tools and workflows to insure our Read Out, Digital Application Specific, Mixed Signal, Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit teams are operating at peak efficiency.

In this role you will:

Lead teams to develop flows to support analog, digital, mixed-signal, and EM simulations, schematic and layout entry, design analysis, and verificationImplement and maintain IP management systemsFacilitate communication across various teams (at various locations) to improve collaborationWork closely with IT to ensure designers have access to necessary tools, data storage, and computing resourcesWork with EDA vendors and BAE Systems design teams to ensure we are using the tools efficiently and effectivelyLead interaction with EDA suppliers to resolve bugs in a timely mannerLead efforts in developing and maintaining in-house software/scripts and/or explore substitutes from 3rd party vendorsInterface with external foundries to facilitate resolution of PDK issuesBecause this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.#LI-KS1Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors degree in engineering or scientific field.

Extensive knowledge of EDA tools used in IC DevelopmentUnderstanding of developing optimized workflows to that maximize design success and balance costsExperience with PDK developmentAbility to obtain a DoD Secret clearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills MS or PhD degreeExperience with IP ManagementExperience managing EDA Tool ContractsUnix/Linux Network and System Admin experienceDesign experience with Digital ASIC, Mixed-Signal or MMIC’sActive DoD Secret clearance

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:

$150370 – $255630Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
