About the Role We are seeking a skilled and innovative Endpoint Engineer to join our GTO Workplace Devices R D Team. This role will be instrumental in designing, testing, and optimizing hardware solutions that support our enterprise device strategy, including endpoint standardization, performance benchmarking, and integration with modern management platforms like Windows 11 and Intune, macOS, and other computing and mobile platforms. This role is central to our vision of delivering workplace technology that meets or exceeds the quality and performance of what our crew use at home. Key Responsibilities + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements aligned to user personas and business needs. + Conduct rigorous testing and benchmarking (e.g., Cinebench, Passmark, FurMark, Battery Eater) to validate performance and user experience. + Support platform certification and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new devices. + Maintain documentation for hardware configurations, testing protocols, and compliance standards. + Work with vendors to evaluate new hardware offerings and coordinate procurement and SKU creation. + Participate in the lifecycle of device R D from requirements gathering through deployment and post-standardization monitoring + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal security protocols. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in hardware testing and benchmarking. + Experience in device enrollment, testing, and management at an Enterprise level. + Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple external vendors and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful delivery across complex initiatives. + Proficiency in hardware design tools and diagnostic software. + Strong understanding of embedded systems, PC architecture (x86 and ARM), Microsoft Intune/AutoPilot management, MacOS, ChromeOS, mobile OS, virtualized technologies such as Microsoft365, and device integration. + Strong knowledge of end user device technologies, including mobile devices, laptops, desktops, XR devices, and peripherals. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with x86 and ARM-based architecture and compatibility testing. + Experience with Windows OS imaging, BIOS configuration, security, and endpoint management tools. + Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and device lifecycle management. + Demonstrates technological curiosity and a passion for exploring and researching emerging tools, platforms, and methodologies to drive innovation. + Knowledge of compliance and certification processes for hardware platforms. + Familiarity with enterprise networking troubleshooting and solutioning.
