We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedPermanent EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager to join ourrapidly growing engineering team. This is an outstandingopportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significantimpact on our organization by spearheading our EHS initiatives. Theideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven trackrecord in change management, safety, and planning. This rolerequires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar positionwithin the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
As the EHSManager, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Developing,implementing, and managing the company’s EHS strategy to ensure asafe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. 2. Leadingchange management initiatives related to EHS to drive continuousimprovement and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state,and federal regulations. 3. Conducting regular safety audits,inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards andimplement corrective actions. 4. Developing and delivering EHStraining programs to educate employees about safety regulations andindustry best practices. 5. Collaborating with cross-functionalteams to integrate EHS considerations into business decisions,project planning, and operational processes. 6. Managing theinvestigation of accidents and incidents to identify their causesand find ways to prevent them in the future. 7. Maintainingaccurate records and preparing detailed reports on EHS performancefor senior management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the EHSManager role, you must possess the following: 1. Bachelor’s degreePreferred 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS managementwithin the engineering industry. 3. Proven experience in changemanagement, safety, and planning. 4. In-depth knowledge of EHSregulations and standards. 5. Excellent leadership and teammanagement skills, with the ability to influence and engage directand indirect reports and peers. 6. Strong problem-solving anddecision-making skills, with a focus on achieving results. 7.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the abilityto communicate complex EHS concepts to a wide range of audiences.8. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified IndustrialHygienist (CIH), or similar certification would be a plus. 9.Bilingual Preferred If you are a driven and experienced EHS Managerlooking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hearfrom you.
