Talascend is currently seeking a Lead HSE Engineer for a contract opportunity located in Baton Rouge, LA.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain policies that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Participate in the design and development of facilities, work areas, and procedures, providing EHS recommendations.
Prepare, update, and manage environmental policy and procedure manuals.
Monitor changes to relevant laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
Serve as the point of contact for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
6-8 years of experience in EHS or a related area.
Familiarity with standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
