MacLean-Fogg We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented EHS Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and sustain world-class EHS systems as we work toward our Mission Zero initiative. The EHS Engineer will support the organization’s strategic safety goals and compliance efforts while fostering a culture of safety excellence. Key Re sponsibilit ies Implement and manage EHS programs aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Develop and maintain systems to drive compliance, reduce injuries, and improve environmental performance. Serve as a resource and coach for plant safety teams and line leaders to fulfill EHS responsibilities effectively. Conduct hazard and risk assessments; develop and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee ISO-14001 and
ISO-45001
compliance and certification processes. Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and track corrective actions to closure. Maintain a working knowledge of applicable EHS laws and standards to ensure continuous compliance. Design, deliver, and evaluate EHS-related training programs. Establish and manage permanent EHS records and documentation systems. Participate in professional development to remain current on industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of EHS experience, preferably within a lean manufacturing environment. Demonstrated success in driving compliance, reducing incidents, and fostering a culture of safety.
