Mission:

Leads, sets up and controls the site’s EHS management program inthe following areas: Safety, machine conformity requirements,working conditions and Ergonomics, Environmental protection, energymanagement Insurance requirements : contributes to the preventionand protection of the sites/employees Process owner of the EHSactivities in the IMS system (process review, KPIs management,procedure periodic review and update, corrective and preventiveactions implementation as needed and resources provision forprocess realization) taking into consideration relevantrequirements and its evolution

Main Responsibilities:

EHSAssessment monitoring Risk assessment update, number of Top safetyobservations, Legal requirements update, Machine conformity, Tf2,OPAD results, energy consumption and CO2 emissions Advises sitemanagement on EHS requirements and performance Ensures EHS controlplan is fully implemented (Training, Maintenance, sampling andmonitoring…) Helps identify unsafe conditions and environmentalrisks and recommends action plans Analyses accidents, incidents andoccupational illnesses to set action plans with managementEvaluates working conditions and site conformity to thelegislation. Advises plant management in case of non-conformance inenvironmental, safety or working conditions. Proposes improvementof working conditions. Ensures all required Corporate, Divisionaland legal reporting are performed timely. Analyses the data andrecommends actions. Ensures liaison with external bodies (insurancecompanies, local legal entities,…) Follows up EHS action plansimplementation Follow up on Energy management programs Provides EHSinputs for the IMS system Manages the safety audits and the Topsafety observation program Together with management and MRO buyer,sources and validates appropriate personal protective equipmentChecks the conformity of each new facility, production means and ofeach chemical product used on site, and participates in thevalidation of plant lay out Ensures site follows insurancerequirements regarding fire prevention and protection and reportsprogress to local management Ensures EHS induction procedures areproperly organized Participates together with Plant Director inpersonal representatives meetings and committees dedicated to EHSTrains all new employees on EHS rules and standards (includingtemps) Liaises with sub-contractors and maintenance team toestablish the prevention scheme, follows up closely the works inprogress Monitoring supplier conformity with REACH Keeps allnecessary documentation up to date Analyses safety andenvironmental annual requirements and communicates to PlantDirector for budget.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree orequivalent education, ideally majoring in EHS Minumum three yearsof experience in EHS, Industrial or Technical environment Goodcommand of English, EHS local regulation, OSHAS 18001/45001,Environmental standards.
