Job Description:
Review and interpret design specifications,drawings, documentation, models, and test results to ensuretechnical designs comply with applicable engineering standards,military specifications, and product requirements. Support vehicle production on 1st Shift as the Engineering Point ofContact for the Paladin Artillery Vehicle Program.
Responsibilities:
Work with production support to create ProblemReports detailing engineering-related issues with items inproduction, liaising with the Integrated Program Team (IPT) todevelop solutions. Maintain the variance-control process for production variationsfrom the Technical Data Package (TDP), including obtaining internaland customer approval for variances. Develop timely, complex and non-complex solutions and coordinateeffective fixes through variances, standard and non-standardrepairs, and configuration notes. Assist in special projects and/or process-improvement teams toenhance effectiveness and relationships between Design andProduction (e.g., improve configuration management of TDP and remandrawings, develop and implement design-change workflow processeswithin configuration-management and engineering-data-managementsystems). Recommend design enhancements for system, subsystem, or componentdesigns to the design-engineering group. Maintain a safe workenvironment and ensure compliance with safety objectives, policies,and rules.

Proficiency with 3D CAD software (PTC Creo / Pro

/ ProductView) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiplepriorities under deadlines Familiarity with current engineering computer applications andtechnologies Experience creating/maintaining large Excel spreadsheets Ability to resolve basic technical design and developmentproblems Proven capability to build and maintain customer relationships fortechnical problem-solving Self-starter needing minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills
