Job Details We are in search for aresult focused, intelligent, and experienced industrial engineer tolead teams to extend manufacturing systems from the factory to thejob site. EssentialFunctions:
1.
Process Development:
Lead the design and developmentof efficient and scalable processes for modular constructionprojects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensureseamless integration of modular components into the constructionworkflow. Identify and implement best practices to optimize themodular construction process. 2.
Budget Estimating:
Utilize yourexpertise in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering toprovide accurate and detailed budget estimates for modularconstruction projects. Work closely with project managers and otherstakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
Analyze cost factors, materials, and labor to develop comprehensiveand competitive budget proposals. 3.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in modularconstruction processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Stayabreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancementsin modular construction to ensure our processes remaincutting-edge. 4.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functionalteams, including design, procurement, manufacturing, andconstruction, to ensure seamless project planning and execution.
Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughoutthe entire project lifecycle.
Education:
BS or MS in IndustrialEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience inmanufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a relatedfield. 2. Proven experience in developing processes and budgetestimates for large scale industrial projects (i.e. installation ofnew manufacturing/production lines). 3. Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills. 4. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith diverse teams. 5. Proficient in relevant software and toolsrelated to engineering and project management.
PositionType/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position. Hours of work areMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended orflexible hours possible to support production demands.
TravelCommitment:
A successful candidate must be willing to travel up to80% of the time to various domestic job sites and Headquarters, ifthe candidate does not currently reside in or relocate to theCentral Alabama area. Travel will be essential for on-siteassessments, collaboration with DMC project teams, and ensuring thesuccessful implementation of modular construction processes.
