Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious, highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to support the US Armys Long Range Hypersonic Weapon capability. This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise related to system and subsystem production processes and procedures, manufacturing readiness assessments, proposal evaluations, and pilot line validations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide production subject matter expertiseLead and/or support production line validation (PLV)Review and define system requirementsSupport technical evaluations on contractor proposalsInterface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate the product DD250 processSupport efforts related to diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMS/MS) and supply chain risk managementDevelop and present briefings and reports to government customerTravel may be required up to 25% of the timeRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering or related technical degree5 years of experience supporting engineering for production and production planningMinimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEMDemonstrated knowledge and application of manufacturing processes and procedures as it pertains to weapon systemsManufacturing readiness assessments or related activitiesDemonstrated experience with obsolescence mitigation methodsExcellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in MS OfficeAbility to multitask in a high paced environmentActive DoD clearance required

Preferred Experience:
