Primary duty is to serve as a Production and Industrial OperationsEngineer for the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space(PEO-MS) Dark Eagle Project Office, which is responsible for thedevelopment, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army’s LongRange Hypersonic Weapon capability. The Production Engineer isresponsible for providing subject matter expertise related tosystem and subsystem production processes and procedures,manufacturing readiness assessments, proposal evaluations, andpilot line validations.
Duties include:
Provide production subject matter expertise Lead and/or support production line validation (PLV) Review and define system requirements Support technical evaluations on contractor proposals Interface with other government organizations and developmentcontractors to facilitate the product DD250 process Support efforts related to diminishing manufacturing sources andmaterial shortages (DMS/MS) and supply chain risk management Develop and present briefings and reports to governmentcustomer

Required Skills:
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office Active Secret Clearance Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree 5 years of experience supporting engineering for production andproduction planning Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for majordefense acquisition program office or OEM. Demonstrated knowledge and application of manufacturing processesand procedures as it pertains to weapon systems Manufacturing readiness assessments or related activities Demonstrated experience with obsolescence mitigation methods
Desired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Technical oversight of major weapon systems development Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEOMS.
