Job Description
Lead the design, development and implementation of MES solutions to support manufacturing operations; Oversee configuration and customization of MES applications to optimize production processes; Review SQL queries developed for the MES application to retrieve key production data including machine performance, quality metrics, downtime, and throughput; Maintain and troubleshoot MES software and hardware components, collaborating with IT and vendor support teams to ensure minimal downtime through regular system maintenance and rapid issue resolution; Use factory analytics tools to detect patterns in defect occurrences and equipment inefficiencies; Review comprehensive KPI reports designed to increase production efficiency; Evaluate emerging MES technologies and recommend upgrades or process changes to keep the system current and optimized.
