Specific Job Duties:
- + Ground Processing Equipment Coordinator responsible for ensuring mechanical and fluids GSE readiness to support spacecraft testing.
+ Develop detailed work instructions for GSE modifications and repairs. + Document nonconformances and work with GSE responsible engineers to restore hardware to design specifications. + Maintain detailed records to meet pedigree standards for GSE configuration management such GSE precision cleanliness and maintenance cycles. + Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and
COTS/GOTS
components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. + Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. + Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. + Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Requirements:
- + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent experience/combined education.

Required Skills:
- + Hands on experience with assembly, integration and test of ground support equipment and/or flight hardware subsystems onto a Flight Spacecraft.
+ Experience using and/or maintaining Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) such as pneumatic or fluids-loading panels. + Fundamental knowledge of spacecraft/aerospace test operations. + Experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics and test specifications for testing of aerospace hardware. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective cross- functional relationships and an ability to work and lead in a team environment. + Solid engineering skills/foundation including problem/anomaly identification, analysis, resolution and closure in support of testing. + Experience generating test plans and test procedures for GSE and/or spacecraft HW. + Willing to support extended work hours when required

Desired Skills:
- + Familiarity with precision clean standards IEST-1246 and
MIL-PRF-XXXX
for hardware and maintenance of such hardware + Experience with structural, environmental (thermal, vacuum, acoustic) or pneumatic testing. + Experience with development and release of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Functional Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FFMEA) for Mechanical GSE + Familiarity with calibration and life limit cycles for hardware utilized for precision data collection + Experience with hazardous operations testing to include high pressure gases, propellants (hypergolic) and an understanding of refrigerants. + Experience with cryogenics (LN2) utilized in vacuum load servicing and de-servicing + Experience working with spacecraft flight fluid systems, such as Propulsion or Environmental Life Support. + Experience working with and/or leading a team to include other test engineers, technicians and quality assurance during testing of GSE hardware.
