Contract About the Role We’re looking for a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team in Ocala, FL. In this role, you’ll analyze and optimize production workflows, facility layouts, and operational processes to drive efficiency and reduce costs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Responsibilities Analyze and design workflows and sequences of operations to improve efficiency in production and facility layouts. Develop methods to maximize utilization of production facilities, equipment, and personnel. Conduct studies on cost control, inventory management, and production record systems. Recommend and implement facility modifications and process improvements based on study findings. Support accident prevention initiatives and training programs related to production operations. Collaborate with facilities engineers on planning and design of plant infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in Industrial Engineering. 4-6 years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. 4-6 years of experience with AutoCAD for plant layout and process flow design. Experience with CCA/ECA, SMT/PTH, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, and waste elimination. Strong background in cost studies, process flow analysis, and plant layout optimization. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. Strong planning, organization, and communication skills. Ability to coach and mentor team members. Proven ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
