Job Description
As part of the Package Engineering Center of Excellence, you will work closely with the Package Engineering Manager on innovative packaging designs, execution of detailed test methods, and analysis of test results. Your role will involve applying industry standards like ASTM and ISTA, sustainability practices, and ensuring compliance with packaging specifications. In this role, you will: Provide global packaging support to both internal and external customers. Apply problem-solving methods to address and resolve packaging challenges. Draft technical test protocols, reports, engineering drawings, and ensure that manufacturing/packaging documents are compliant with company standards. Support the introduction of new packaging and improvements to existing products. Focus on reducing waste while defining packaging materials.
Key qualifications include:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Material Sciences, or a related field. 0-1 year of experience in an FDA-regulated environment. Technical writing experience, with knowledge of ISO and GMP standards.
